Multiple Sclerosis

When a friend asked me if it would stop my 4 year old daughter to accompany his Multiple Sclerosis walk, I hesitated not OK. My friend was diagnosed with this disease for more than 5 years and is a test of self-improvement and strength daily; She controls his illness and not upside down. So I not only accepted that my daughter will participate, but I enrolled my eldest son and myself. It was 4 months pregnant. I knew that by the time of the walk was going to have more than six and a half months; but she was determined to support my friend and to be part of the campaign of awareness and search for a cure for Multiple sclerosis. In this article I’ll explain how I had the energy to walk more than five kilometers with nearly seven months of pregnancy. My preparation began with my diet.

During the first months of pregnancy I didn’t many meal alternatives by nausea and discomfort; but in the fourth month already I felt a little better (if the discomfort sometimes lasting beyond the) first quarter). I diversify my food and increase more fruits and vegetables, various cereals and more protein. During pregnancy it is important to avoid fat and simple carbohydrates not only for not much gain weight but because do not provide basic nutrients for the MOM and the baby. If I want to eat dessert, a piece of cake or something very sweet leaves me tired and limply. That is why I prefer fresh fruit or yogurt, that give me much more energy and make me feel much better. My diet is supplemented with nutritional supplements that help me to obtain the optimum level of nutrients for me and my baby, and to keep my energy level. Two primary elements of my pregnancy that have been key for the walk are exercise and rest.
